Excitement! And a whole lotta nothing...

For all those who have asked, I definitely can NOT sleep!! I have been so active tonight! I have done everything but wrap christmas presents! I even re-arranged my entire bedroom!! Which I am glad! I need to take a picture of my new duvet I got on sale from Target!! It is beautiful. And white. Which was kinda dumb...but I loved it. I'm sure Gracie will too. Ugh. I'm trying to train her to stay OFF the bed now, but we'll see!!

I am so excited! My sister got down here tonight, I got everything all packed! I checked the weather, it's supposed to be in the upper 80's! And I am SO glad because of course here it is going to only make it to 50 tomorrow!

I can not believe I am FINALLY going to go see Mr S. I know I say it continually...but we NEVER in a million years would have guessed it would have gone on so long, which is why we have waited to see each other until now. I am so, so grateful that we have a court date in January. I hope that everything comes out like we are hoping and that all this time away from one another finds its purpose in a good outcome!

Let me ask you all a question: I have really been having a hard time feeling the christmas spirit. I dont know if it is because I am stressed out at work...or because I have been so busy with work and with personal that I just haven't taken the time to try and feel christmas-y. Maybe once i start to wrap presents I will feel that way. I don't know. I have sung my Christmas Carols. I bought the new Faith Hill on itunes and Josh Groban. But I'm just not there yet. Does it just come with being older? Is it just because i am away from Mr S? Who knows? But I do think that once we are back together, next Christmas I will be excited to have our own little house and decorate and all that jazz!

So what do you to do get yourself in the Mood?

1 More Day!!!!

There is no feeling more comforting and consolingthan knowing you are right next to the one you love.

And I will be carrying my laptop to Puerto Rico, so I can give you all the scoop!!

Orlando! And Mr S..of course!

Last weekend was my trip down to Orlando for a trade show! It was a VERY filled weekend! Busy, busy, busy. The show was great and we went to a lot of different meetings. We got some great ideas and I am hoping that we can implement them to make our business a successful one! These are some hard times we are facing and I am hoping we can make it there!!



So you all know about the hotel issues that we faced...but Gaylord Palms DEFINITELY made up for it! The next morning the reservations manager came over to see us, made sure we were happy with our rooms, and apologized over and over. Our rooms were FABULOUS by the way! The hotel is seriously the nicest I have stayed in! They have 6 different restaurants, a HUGE atrium, 4 different shops...seriously just amazing! I loved it!! They more than made up for their error! We got our chocolate covered strawberries! (Minus the two we ate :) hehe!)

They left these for us everyday...and seriously I felt like I was two, but look how CUTE!How could you not love them?



And among some of the other things they gave us tickets to ICE!

Saturday Night I got to steal away to Disney for a while! I don't have pictures right now, but I promise to show some!! I LOVED Disney! It was great! I saw two parades and the fireworks and thought I was in heaven! It was so fun! I got a picture with Mickey and Minnie and Cinderella waved at me! At first sight of Cinderella's castle my heart flutter! *sigh* I cant wait to go back! Preferably with Mr S!!

Speaking of the devil...! Just kidding, but seriously...are you all tired of hearing me talk about him?... GOOD! Me either!

We have had a really good week this week! (Some weeks are really difficult!) I think a lot of that has to do with being able to FINALLY see a light at the end of the tunnel! But as Mr S and I have conversations about life, future, love, etc...I swear I fall more and more in love with him. A lot of people that know us personally I'm sure wonder why in the world we got married. I know that there are people (my father) that think we are too different for things to work. We may be different culturally, but we have the same goals, dreams, ambitions for life. I am so very blessed to have married a man that thinks the most important things in this life are God and Family. He pushes me every day to make sure that my relationship with my Heavenly Father grows. He wants us to be close to God, close to one another, and to be happy. I am so excited to start our lives, talk the talk, and walk the walk TOGETHER! Mr S makes my heart pitter patter! I can not wait to see him again! Thanks for letting me get all smushy, mushy on you, you're the best!!

BORING. I know! But this book is "Grace" and it is by Richard Paul Evans. He is the author of "The Christmas Box" so if you haven't read it, you really need to! He has quite a few books! They are little and easy reads, but they are such sweet stories, of love, heartache, overcoming trials...I don't know. The quote on my profile page is from one of his books actually. I just love them. I'm not very far into this one, but I am sure it's good!! I'm serious if you like to read, go check him out!

1. I like chocolate, but I don't love it. However, I do LOVE ice cream. More than I should. And I'm pretty plain...Vanilla, Cookies-n-Cream, Birthday Cake. I don't like chocolate in my ice cream.
2. I love to buy DVD's. A lot of them. I have TONS. Though most are in storage right now. A lot of times, they will stay in plastic for months. I don't actually really like to re-watch a movie unless it's a disney movie. Or it's on TV and nothing else is on. But I have them in case I want to. Oh and I can re-watch Elf. Funniest movie. This includes books. I don't like to re-read books. My sister can read them over and over. Not me. Once it's finished, it holds no interest to read again.
3. I have a purse addiction. I have an entire XL duffle bag from LL Bean filled with purses. I do rotate them, but I can never seem to be satisfied. I am still looking for that one perfect purse.
4. I don't like to take medicine at all. But I love to give people medicine to make them feel better...and tell them to take it.
5. I really want to have hobbies, but I feel too lazy.
6. I put butter in my rice and put grated parmesan cheese on top.
7. I'm not supposed to drink soda--much less mountain dew--but I do. No brown soda by the way...I just don't like it.
8. My favorite thing about Mr S is his laugh, he loves to laugh. I miss his laugh, it is beautiful, it lights up his entire face. The exception to this is when I am mad. He also laughs when I'm mad and takes pleasure from doing so!

And you know...I swear there were more. I have now developed a system for tags and things that I havent posted about yet, but that I am going to do. Please, if you have tagged me and I have not responded, please tell me! I am more than happy to do them! I have just had a slight error in my memory chip!


GUESS WHAT??

When I went to the show for work over the weekend, I apparently entered a contest to win something! (I had no idea!) BUT I WON!!!! I'm so excited! The funny thing is, I'm not exactly sure what I am excited about. I know it's a 17" something, so I think it is a TV! I just happen to find it exciting that I won something nice!! Yippeee!!


So I know there was something else I wanted to blog about, but I just don't know what it is. I can't remember. And I really need to clean, my room is a wreck! I still need to do laundry and pack and a million other things! There is just not enough time!!

3 More Days!!

9 months and counting...

It is about half past midnight and we have just arrived home from Orlando!! What a trip it has been! I have to say, I am glad to be back in my bed!! But I will post about all this later!!

Today (as in very early Monday morning/Sunday night) I just wanted everyone to know a little information!

It has been nine months to the day since I married the love of my life! Though things are not as I would have planned, my heart pitter patters and then melts at thoughts of our future! I am so very blessed to have married a man that is so loving. He tells me every single day exactly how he feels. He promises every day to make me happy for the rest of our lives, and I believe every word.

Mr S is going to be such a good Papai! I am SO happy to be married to someone who values family so much. I have been given a deadline of January 2010. That is when i supposed to be giving birth to our first child. Haha. He makes me laugh! I told him let's work on getting him home and spending some time together first! But I am so very happy that he is so excited to have kids and to be such a good Dad. Have I mentioned that we have already named them? And talk about them all the time by name? It's true and it's a lot of fun!

I am so excited for our future together. I know that we are not facing an easy thing. I think Mr S said it best the other night, "Everyone's lives are difficult. We are not excused from that, our lives will be difficult too. But, Mrs S, I love you, and that makes things a lot easier. If we do it together, we will be happy." How could you not love a man that tells you that?? Mr S gives me hope for us. I know that marriage is not easy. I watched my parents struggle, have a terrible relationship, re-marry and still struggle. Am I looking through "rose-colored glasses" as my dad would say?...maybe. But I think I would rather look through those than go through life so cynical and unhappy.

This weekend I get to go see Mr S for the first time in 9 months...I can not believe we have been apart for so long. The time has truly gone fast and so very slow all at the same time. I can not wait to get back and tell you everything about it! I know it will be SO good, but SO hard at the same time. It was so hard to leave Mr S the first time I left St Thomas...I imagine it will be equally as hard to walk away...

Thank you all for taking this journey with me! Thank you for all your support and love! I am so excited to be reporting of the happy times to come and for all of you to share in mine and Mr S's life TOGETHER!

Down South

Today we drove ALL day to Orlando, Florida. The hotel we are at is GORGEOUS! It is just amazing and so close to Disney! Maybe I can get over there this weekend?? I don't know, but I am hoping so because I have NEVER BEEN!

Anyway I am here for work. We have a huge floor covering trade show. So tomorrow (or I guess today) is meetings all day. Boo. But maybe they will have something to inspire me. And maybe an awesome way to get some new business.

Of course when we got here today our room situation was not good. We updated our rooms becaues the cost was not that much different. They did not have enough upgraded rooms apparently even though this has been booked for MONTHS. So they put us in their bottom rooms. I was not happy. My Dad was not happy. They told us there was nothing they could do. We got upset and kept pushing. We got the Mohawk people involved...and of course they got it taken care of. But not before one of the employees told his boss that we had threatened to bash his head in! WHAT THE HELL? Are you crazy?? WE NEVER would threaten someone like that! I could NOT believe it. Seriously a hotel of this calibur (so unbelievably nice, seriously) should not have the customer service that they do. It was just ridiculous! But in the end (that took two hours to get to), they fixed it and we got our upgraded rooms. And free valet service. And best of all--chocolate covered strawberries!

Anyway I hope to have some good pictures from this trip! This place is so beautiful!! I still have not read my reader. But I promise I will. Hope you all have a GREAT Friday!!

Holy cow and I lucky or what?? I have to say I have had this package for a quite some time and I have just been going a hundred miles an hour with no hope of catching up!!

But Emily thank you SO much! My very favorite thing was the little bag you made me! I LOVE IT! I have put all my little make up odd and end things in it for my work to carry with me. Also another HUGE plus: Sharpies! LOVE them!! And the first thing I did when i opened my box?? (Well after I took a picture...i have to show some kind of restraint) Went straight for the cliff bar!! Yummy!!
