*sigh*
PS- Don't you LOVE my suitcases?? I got them for my birthday from Gma!! She's so good to me! It also comes with a purse to match, a laptop/carry on bag, luggage covers so they don't get dirty, and luggage jewelry (or in other words, luggage tags). It is FABULOUS!

That does suck!
I can't believe you mock packed!
Can you ship stuff ahead of time?
Ugh, I can't imagine all that you have to do!
Love the luggage though. Very snazzy!
Oh my goodness! You MOCK packed?!?! You are one organized girl. We stayed up for nearly 48 hours at the last minute trying to get things packed for when the movers were coming to get stuff to put in the container. I remember I finally curled up on the floor at around 4am and passed out while Carlos was madly dashing around with a tape gun. It really is amazing that we didn't break or have anything go missing.
Good for you! Now where are you going to fit all that stuff that you still have to buy?! (lol!)
Sounds like you had quite a smokey fire weekend too!
You crack me up! That is serious moving stuff to 'mock' pack. Love it!!!

Be careful about weight of the suitcases. It could be possible that you might have to pay.. You are a girl though and traveling without a companion, so you might get away with any luggage being a little over weight..hee hee = )
It is so good I started reading your blog when the good times were so near.. My husband and I travel alot all over Brazil (or we are trying) and one place we want to visit is Belo, so maybe our paths could cross while we visit there. I have to catch up on my reading life has been crazy lately...
Love the suitcases. Glad that Sidnei is settling in and that you're able to talk...
Look at you with your super cute luggage and your mock packing preparation.
They are simply fabulous and to die for! I love them!
And you are so good to mock pack. I'm a procrastinator, so I don't do that mock packing crap. :p
xoxo
The great thing about traveling to Brazil is that it is the only country that you bags can weigh up to 70 lbs without paying extra. It's some Brazilian law that the States has to abide by and man, I take full advantage of it.
I read what everyone else said to bring. I'd also bring chocolate chips. The list of stuff I bring each time is HUGE. Hand soap, body soap, advil and most OTC drugs, tampons, shampoo, face lotions, spray sunscreen, hand sanitizer, make-up peanut butter, tide, Pledge, fabric softener sheets, maple syrup, box brownies, cakes, etc., poptarts. :) The sheets here suck and they are expensive, so I'd bring some if possible. Towels are ok.
Wow. This is awesome. 45 days left??
The unpacking is not a good thing at all.... I still have boxes from my last move. But I refuse to do it by myself.... and my husband is always too tired to help me.... So they will be there as long as I can´t stand them anymore.
About things, that you have to bring... bring whatever you can´t live without like BG said. And remember that you will be leaving in a small town, so it will be even harder to find the things you like. Ask Sidnei about stores in Ipatinga and things that he knows it won´t be possible for you to find down here.

Love the luggage! But were you really able to get all of your clothes and shoes into those three bags? If so, you are a SUPER packer!
beautiful stuff..
here's another tip...
LOCK your suitcases! make sure you buy the TSA locks but do lock them. If the TSA sees something they can get to it, but for those other wondering eyes...no can do without breaking the lock (which has also happened to me !)
It is coming closer! :)

Good luck with the packing, but at least you have nice pretty luggage!
Is mock packing for practice? Sorry but I'm new and was trying to figure it out. Love the colorful bag. You can't lose that one.
Yes, your luggage is darling!
And, yes... mock packing is such a pain!
love the bags!! I can't believe you are almost there !!!!!
you have some good advice going on I hope you can remember it all. marina
I say, "why unpack?" - You went through all that work, you should just leave them.
Now go out and buy yourself a week's worth of clothes (or maybe two) and just wear them over and over until it's time to leave ;)
Where are you???

Mock packing?
Now why have I never thought of that?
Impressed with your mad packing skillz!
