This Week In Review

Can I just say that the girl in this cartoon looks slightly happy. Though at this stage, she might just be delirious. Like me. Minus the smile.

I am tired of boxes.

I am tired of sorting.

I am tired of packing.

I am tired of lists.

I am tired of shopping.

I am REALLY tired of my job. I want to run and hide from it. It was NOT a good day.

I am tired.

Just tired.

I know it will be over soon.

I know I need to stay positive and focused.

I know I get to see my husband soon.

But today I am tired.

And slightly cranky.

And tomorrow I get to go back to work...with my Dad boss, who isn't particularly pleased but that happens when you pay NO attention to the business that is suffering from lack of money and employees and you unrealistically expect someone to make miracles.

Did I mention I'm tired?

If it makes you feel any better, your post cheered me up. I've been feeling sorry for myself lately but my nausea/sickness is small potatoes compared to everything you're dealng with! So...thanks?

Aww honey. Take a deep breath and a kick ass nap. Maybe a bubble bath to decompress a bit?

Just hang in there. This too shall pass.

This is exactly what breaks were designed for. Take a break! Get a few chick flicks and some Chinese food and take a day off! There's a lot to be said about getting a head start, but you have the time, so just chill a bit. No matter what, everything will be done by the time you go.

Oh my, oh my, oh my... I´ve been thtough this so many times by now (5 times in 8 years). I can tell you that the best advice was given by Laural. Take a day off and DO NOT think for minute about the move.

Have a nice Sunday.

Hey... I'm a brazilian married to an american living here in the States and I don't even know how I came to find your blog...but girl, what the heck happened to the two of you?!
When I started reading I thought it was some kind of joke, but it's not...
I'm happy you're soon to be reunited with him, and sorry you've had to go through all that...but well... hope the future hold a bright and happy future for you two.
My best wishes for your stay in Brazil, and if you need anything, just send me a note! I'm from from Sao Paulo but have lived in many places in Brazil...in fact, my mother and brother currently live in Minas Gerais (south of it), and I lived in a couple of cities there. So, I know how it is to get settled in a completely new place and specially a new country (yeah, I learned it here) so, just shout and I'll be there for you!
