Remember how I bought my husband fishing gear for Christmas ? Well it was quite the success.
We have been spending quite a bit of time fishing. And when I say quite a bit I mean at LEAST once a week. At least.
But here is the first fish (after about two weeks of attempts...) Look how HAPPY that face is!

I've got to ask: What kind of fish is that? I've never seen anything like it. And if you did eat it, how was it?

It looks like some type of Pirana, but I could be wrong.

we did eat it!! i dont really love fish, i never really ate much fish..until now. Usually we fry one when Sidnei catches it at the place, and the rest we bring home and Sidnei likes to grill it. It's pretty good, light flavor. Not strong at all!
Jules- The name is Tambaqui (tom-bah-key). I looked it up in wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tambaqui), apparently they can get really big! Ours was about 1 kilo, 600 grams! So somewhere around 3 pounds! And its pretty good!
Troy- it's not a piranha, but i only know that because i looked on wikipedia! :)
