One of those days...

Basically I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Well really just afternoon. The morning was fine.

My kids made my cry (and by kids I mean students).

And then I got hit by a car.

Seriously. Like me. My body.

I'm fine. I just got bumped (the guy was backing up and didn't see me. And I was watching traffic and didn't realize he was backing up. I got bumped. Fell down. I only have bruises and scrapes.

The guy didn't even stop. He saw, looked irritated that I was in his way, and drove off.

I cried.

Now it's all good.

I hate these days.

You did have an awful day! I'm sorry your students made you cry. (One time I was so frustrated with my students I said, "Do you not like me or something?" Hahah all 31 9 year olds just stared at me.)

I'm so glad you aren't seriously injured! And what a jerk for not stopping!

Oh my Goodness, it sounds like a really bad day. I am sorry. So what do you mean by you fell? Were you on a motorcycle? Or just figurative way of speaking? Hope you have a great day tomorrow to make it up for today!

I hope that ass got what he deserved! God saw what happened, and I'm sure He'll handle it. Wow, that sounded cheesy, lol. I hope you're feeling better now :-)

Oh man, glad you're doing all right. I got hit by a car a few years ago--full on sprawled across the windshield before landing in the crosswalk. It must have looked hilarious to anyone walking by. Fortunately I was fairly unhurt and the lady felt so bad she gave me a ride back home.

Sorry to hear... did you send the kids home immediately?

I SO know I am going to get hit by a car one day. But I try not to think about it so as not to draw it onto myself. The scofflaw drivers here are INSANE -- and yes - they insist it was the fault of the pedestrian! Glad you were not seriously hurt.

So glad you are ok, I am scared to death this will happen to me. Its still unbelievable to me that drivers are so irresponsible here!

Remember Karma's a b**ch and that guy will get what's coming to him. I can't believe he didn't stop!

Omg! That sounds like a really bad day. Don't let the students get to you. That hit-and-run guy sounds like a complete arse, how disappointing that people can be like that.

Oh no! In the U.S., you could take a couple photos, or perhaps a video, with your camera phone and the guy would be on the evening news. Here... I wouldn't even know what to do.
Here's to hoping tomorrow is a better day!
