My room is so empty. And clean. Which it hasn't been that way in a LONG time what with all the packing
I can not say that I am sad to leave Myrtle Beach. I am sad to leave behind the friends who have supported me, I am sad to leave my family that I have learned to love and rely on so much, and I am more saddened to leave the place that holds so many good memories for me. This is the place that I met the love of my life. The man who took me to Broadway at the Beach, in the winter, just to walk around and be alone. It was terribly romantic. He took me to the beach and etched a heart in the sand, hold hands, and walk... He took me to eat Mexican at our favorite little restaurant Chalupa's more than he wanted, because he knew I loved it! Those little things (and so so many more) tug at my heart strings..I want more than anything to come back here with Sidnei and do those things again. There are so many things I want Sidnei to experience, so many things that I have not yet had the opportunity to share with him!
I know we are about to embark on a bigger journey than either of us can yet imagine. I know there will be new memories, new heart strings. But for now, the feelings are ever so bittersweet. I am sad to leave, but I am happy to go.

(((hugs))) I'm very excited for you, and I feel for you all at once! :) I can't wait to hear about you being in Brazil. By the way, I couldn't comment earlier, but I love your hair! I prefer it curly though, lol! You look like you've lost weight too! :) Anyway, enjoy your last night there hun!
I bet it is bittersweet! I'm sure one day you will be able to go back together. But very soon, you're going to be reunited and I can't wait to hear all about it! =D
The last sentence says it all! You will have many of these "moments" in life but they become the best memories! Hope you enjoy your last days in your beautiful country!
your last words are what I always say when I am leaving for a new country...sad to leave but happy to go!
And you will have so many new experiences and adventures, just remember to stay positive and focus on the good of what Brazil has to offer. It is really easy to get dragged down by what you are missing from the US, b ut you just have to accept that you are not in the US and enjoy what a beautiful country this is.
Best of all, whatever the experiences are, they will be with the love of your life :)

Big Hugs! It is all going to be one crazy beautiful adventure. They say you can't go home again, but I think you always leave a piece of you there and take a piece of there with you! Who knows - maybe someday you'll be packing up to leave Brazil and having the same feelings about leaving here!
Your hair does look amazing! Being a curly girl myself, I understand the love for the silky straight locks. And you do look like you've lost weight. Lots of stress and work? Stay healthy!!!!!
What a bittersweet moment!
Brazil will have lots of fabulous things, too! Enjoy your time in MB!
A year ago, would you have at all imagined the life you are about to begin? Life threw crazy at you, and you have handled it amazingly well. And now you're just a few days away from being an expat! It's almost too exciting for words (and just wait until you try your first pastel). God be with you!
Bittersweet indeed!! I THINK ABOUT YOU OFTEN AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU WHEN YOU TWO FINALLY SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN!! WE NEED PICTURES DON'T FORGET!
I want to come give you a hug. Of course it is bittersweet, as it should be. You have wonderful memories to carry you and a bright future to give you hope.

I can understand that bittersweet feeling. Still, you and Sidnei have so much to look forward to. I'm excited for you guys. :)
It is bittersweet leaving your home to go off to a new adventure. I always feel that way when I leave home, but like you said you will be making new memories. I hope you the best and I can't wait to read all about it. Shoot me an email if you get the chance. :)
I wish you all the best and I'm so excited for all that is to come for you! It is hard to leave those you love though.
I'll be thinking of you as you're own your journey...but what a reward at the end!
I'm so very excited for you...can't wait to hear the stories once you get to Brazil! I'm sure Sidnei can't wait to have you with him again!
Big hugz,
Michele
Goodbye, Myrtle Beach. Hello, Brazil!
I know it is a little sad leaving home but you will definitely make a new home with Sidnei.
P.S. What does Sidnei think about your 'lil ole' blog now that he can enjoy it?
