Attention please:

I have a very important question for you ALL.

It is a matter of utmost urgency.

My vanity is at stake here people.

Can I pull off hair like this girl?

This is me yesterday:

Despite that fact that my nose is quite large you can't actually see my hair... I thought I looked damn good you should see my face shape....

Ahem.

Plus this is the perfect of example of why I should cut it. The last time I have photographic evidence of actually wearing my hair down, was a month ago. (You should remember this picture from two posts below) As you can see, it is quite long now.

Not only that, but it is hot here and humid. Which means it takes mass amounts of gel to keep this hair from frizzin' out. And I think everyone is tired of seeing my hair pulled back.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Lay it on me.

I think short hair would look awesome on you. You sort of have the same shaped face as the model so it'll good on you.

Good luck!

First, I think the haircut would look great on you! And second, a Brazilian hair product suggestion: I am using the Seda brand "Cachos Compridos" for curly hair. They have four items in this line and I love them all.
The shampoo and conditioner, then a pot of deep conditioner and a bottle of a leave-in conditioner (use a dime-sized amount and distribute through your wet hair when you get out of the shower), then air dry your hair. If you must comb it do it in the shower with conditioner. Your curls should be less frizzy and more defined.
Make sure you get the NEW formulation of the product with Ouidad's [do you recognize the name from the US brand?] signature on it; make sure you don't get the old version (the shampoo and conditioner bottles are more angular in the new formula). It is in a green bottle, at all the 'farmacias' and like R$5 or less/bottle :)

I think that would look fantastic on you! Just make sure the longest layers reach to below your chin so your face is framed nicely. :)

Gringa mistake, it's called "Cachos Comportados" :)

(I tried using strike tags to comic effect as you do but it won't accept my comment that way so I'm using parenthesis instead)
my wife has been wearing (extensions) her hair long for several years, just a couple years ago she (took them out) cut her hair and it looks great! I'd say go for it. Come to think of it, I did the same thing a couple years ago and I've never looked back. Then again, you can always (tie them back in) grow it out again :)

I've always thought you were stunning, and hence, you could pull off an electric blue mohawk if you so desired.

As a girl with curly (wavy) hair, living in Brazil as well - I think it's fair to be honest. Your hair will always be a little frizzy and the sweat on your face will make the bangs go crazy. BUT I think it would make a cute ponytail! :) And you could probably work it down on the days that are a little less humid... Read: Not as humid as the other crazy ass humid days. :)

DO IT!!!! I think you'd look awesome with the short 'do! And if you don't like it.... it'll always grow back. I chopped mine off a little while ago and am in the process of a re-growth. My hair and I are always on this constant journey. Haha!
