Last week, I decided that I would cook "American" spaghetti for Sidnei's family. I guess I should really just call it, my spaghetti, I suppose spaghetti in itself is not that American. But here in Brazil...at least from what I've had, the spaghetti isn't quite done the same. It has a very tiny bit of sauce and is served as a side, rather than the main course, with rice, and some sort of meat.
So we took the recipe my Dad gave me and did a little more of a spicy spin off! We had to improvise a little because we don't have access to all the ingredients we had at home, but everything worked out perfect! We had a lot of fun

In Turkey, pasta is the same way. So not the same. I'm glad you were able to enjoy this experience together!
Looks very good!!! I love cooking with my husband!! It's always a hoot!
yummy! :)
That looks delish, and I think it's such a sweet thing to make spaghetti for everyone! In China, we ordered spaghetti and it even LOOKED like our spaghetti, but man, it sure didn't taste like ours. ;)
Looks so yummy Stephanie! Glad you guys were able to do it together...that's the most fun part!

Sounds like fun. Cooking together. Something I have not had the pleasure of yet. My hubby can´t even cook an egg! :)
That would be so fun to introduce another family to "American" food and flavors!
My husband won't cook with me because apparently I make too many comments about how he's not doing it right. I tell him I've changed but he doesn't believe me!
You two are so cute! I love cooking with my hubby!!! He's much better at it though, so I leave most of it to him. I love the new look and reading about you and your hubby!
YUM!
That sounds like a great time!
Yum....homemade spaghetti with Brazilian twist!

So glad you guys are finally together. How's the culture shock going? :) Hope all is well.
