Embracing

So now that I have successfully "hit the wall" (you can find the explanation here ! Thanks Kerri !), my head has stopped spinning, and I am ready to get back up again. Not that the news was so terribly shocking, just disappointing.

SO, that being said. I am MUCH better now. Like I said, once I talked to Mr S, I would be fine. And I was. He has a way of putting things into perspective for me and most of the time, he's right.

Thank you all for your kind words. It's nice to have a place to be able to vent all these things and "hit the wall" if I need to.

The bottom line is, I am happy. Despite it all, truly I am happy. We have been blessed with the things we need to survive this time, we have strengthened our relationship, and we are a true testament to the phrase "absence makes the heart grow fonder". I am excited for my life to make this shift and change. If we live in Brasil (which is looking more like a certainty than a possibility) then I know things will be fine and I am looking forward to our adventure. I am lucky to be with someone who is so unselfish and loving and I know he will help me and support me in all things. And truth be told, I am just so excited to be TOGETHER that I can hardly stand the anticipation!

So it is with a cheerful attitude and loving arms that I embrace what is to come!

Just thought you all should know I'm not crying in the corner in other words hehe

In other news: It's FRIDAY! WOO! (even if it is the 13th)

And this made me laugh! Have a great day everyone!

lol Cute cartoon!

I'm glad your feeling better. You and your hubs are so awesome for each other. :) I'm excited to read about him coming home.. and as much as I hope you don't HAVE to move to Brazil I think it will be awesome to read about. Then you could definitely get a book deal!!! :) Plus it'd be a great experience for the two of you. And for you to meet his family and all. I think it's sort of a blessing in disguise. :) I only say that because all of my undocumented friends/family are really sad about the fact that they haven't seen their family in 10+ years. So maybe I'm wrong?? lol Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now. ;)

I´m glad your looking at it with a positive attitude. This will help you so much. And I really think maybe there is a purpose in you moving to Brazil. Maybe you can study one of those things you were mentioning the other day. There are very good english schools there. Everything will work out!

ok, just caught up with you...sorry I have been extremely busy!
So, do you know where you will live in Brasil? Please get in touch with me....I will give you help if you need it when/if you get here to Brasil.
There are great networks in Brasil so that you don't feel alone or needing an answer to something that you just can't find.
Let me know!

Keep up the good attitude! It will be alright; you have your health, a loving husband, and the opportunity to be together; where ever that may be.

Take care

I missed your last post- you were quick to recover! You always have such a great attitude. Just remember that it's totally okay to have ups and downs.

If you need to travel back and forth between the States and Brasil, get an AmEx miles card and see if your dad will let you charge business items on it. You can wrack up a ton of miles that way.

I'm excited for you and this new life you're about to embark on!

Sounds like you've really been through the ringer lately! But a good attitude will help a ton-and it sounds like you've got that.

Best of luck!

(you can totally wear flip-flops all the time if you move here-i do!)

Sounds like you are keeping your head up! I am so sorry to hear things aren't going the way you planned or wanted them. I have just had some devastating news and it looks like Kyle and I won't be reunited for sometime :( I walked around feeling like a zombie for a couple of days, then got really angry and I could have stayed that way if I had chosen but it is necessary to just move on or have a permanent dent in my head from banging my head against the wall. It sounds like you are coping well, and the important thing is that you and your hubby will be reunited.
